As a new patient, we will need information about you to begin your dental treatment. We have new patient forms on our website that you can fill out before your appointment or can provide forms for you when you come in. These forms ask for your personal information, medical history, financial preferences and other data needed to perform your dental care. Once we have the information we need, our dental team will escort you back to one of our treatment rooms.
Personalized Treatment Plan
During your first visit, we want to find out more about you and your oral health. This starts with a thorough periodontal and dental exam, as well as digital x-rays of your teeth. Our hygienist will carefully inspect your gums to check for signs of periodontal disease or gingivitis. Most patients will receive their first dental cleaning, and a future cleaning may be scheduled if you have signs of gum disease.
After your periodontal exam and cleaning, you will meet with Dr. Gutierrez for your dental exam. She will examine your x-rays and oral cavity to determine the best treatment plan for your smile. If there are any oral health concerns, she will discuss them with you and what she recommends for obtaining your best smile.
Your first visit to our office is a chance for you to get to know us and all the services we offer.
